On February 2, 1976, the 3rd department of the library was organized – the department of book storage, then the sector of mass work, the sector of cataloging and classification, a circulation of fiction with open access to the fund.
Preparations have begun for the transfer of the library fund to the Universal Decimal Classification (UDC). The library fund in the names was about 20,000.
February 8, 1978 – the introduction of the group method of serving students began (letter No. 93-084-157 / 19 “On the organization of the group method of serving readers in the libraries of a higher educational institution”).
